Fish Plants
Lake Camanche
Mt Lassen Trout delivered 600 lbs to the North shore ramp and 600 lbs to the South shore ramp on Monday, May 13th. Mt. Lassen has planted 23,600 lbs of trout at the lake in 2013.
Lake Chabot
The last few plants we’ve had have been in the tube right next to the marina and we’ve planted more than 16,500 lbs of trout. We usually get a plant ranging from 500 to 1,000 lbs every Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon. Our last recorded plant was on June 5th with 750 lbs from Mt. Lassen. This is probably our last trout plant for the season due to water warming up as we get closer to summer. We will start getting catfish plants hopefully by new week, so make sure to change up your fishing line.
Los Vaqueros
We will be planting another load of 1000 lbs of trout from the Mount Lassen hatchery sometime this week. We planted 1000 lbs of trout from Mt. Lassen on May 24 and June 4. Trout fishing continues to provide the best action for anglers at the reservoir.
