2011 Derby Day Winners
Thank you to everyone who came out for Lake Camanche’s 2011 Derby Day. Unfortunately, no one caught our $25,000 tagged fish. We did manage to send people home with prizes for the biggest stringer and the biggest fish as well as tons of raffle prizes.

Trout Plants at Lake Camanche
Lake Camanche has begun planting trout again. We're starting with a 4,800 lb plant the week of October 10. 10% of these fish will be trophy size fish, as well.
Los Vaqueros Updates
Boat Rentals will continue to be available through October 9. The last day of boat rentals will be October 9. Boat rentals will start back up in the spring of 2012. The Marina building will also be closing on October 9.

New Catfish Record
at Los Vaqueros!
On August 21, 2011 Alec Michaels of Livermore (age 7) pulled this 30.31 lb monster out of the South Cove on Sunday. He and his dad were fishing from the shore with anchovies. Nice job, Alec!
The previous record was established on June 25th, 2011 and wheighed 29.09 lb.
Urban Park Concessionaires no longer
operating at San Pablo Reservoir
As of May 20th, 2011, Urban Park Concessionaires no longer operates at San Pablo Reservoir. We are thankful to our agency partner, EBMUD, for the years we’ve spent there. Best of luck to all the anglers and nature-lovers who will no doubt continue to utilize this beautiful facility. We will continue to provide weekly fishing conditions for Lake Camanche, Lake Chabot, and Los Vaqueros Reservoir without interruption.
