About Our Lakes

Urban Park Concessionaires staff and manage the facilities at 4 urban lakes in Northern California under contract to State, Regional and Municipal agencies. Since 1981, UPC has been serving the needs of millions of park visitors each year in partnership with these agencies. We are committed to providing our guest with a safe and high quality recreational experience.

	Lake Camanche	Located in the rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada in historic gold country between Highways 12 and 88. Fishing: Bass, trout, catfish, crappie, kokanee Trout Pond: Trout plants fall through spring Summer catfish plants! Annual Florida strain bass.
	Lake Chabot	In the Hayward Hills, Lake Chabot is easily accessible from Interstate 580. Trout plants fall through spring. Summer catfish plants.
	San Pablo Dam Reservoir	Easily accessible from I-80 or Highway 24, San Pablo is secluded from the nearby urban chaos. Trout year round. Summer catfish plants.
	Los Vaqueros Reservoir	Located in Brentwood, north and south off Vasco Road.  55 miles of trails, including 12.5 miles that are multi-use.  Picnic facilities also available. Trout year round.

San Pablo				25 mph speed limit. No dry stack jet boats, water skis, windsurfers. All motor boats must be registered. See San Pablo Boat Launch info for minimum length & width requirements. No 2-cyle motors allowed on this lake.	Mid February through Mid November Sunrise-Sunset	Boat Launch & Main Rec. Building (Bait & Tackle, Grill) open sunrise to sunset mid-Feb. through mid-Nov.
