The Purple Heart Anglers
"It is the goal of The Purple Heart Anglers to produce a program that aids in the healing of the wounded warriors of the United States Military. By connecting individuals, private companies, non-profit organizations and Government agencies, a community is in place to serve the past, present and future wounded warriors that they may continue to have mental, emotional and physical access to the country they served and are honored for their commitment and service to that community."
Overall Derby Prizes
1. Two-Night Stay plus Deluxe Fishing Boat at Lake Camanche
2. Free boat rental at each lake and lure tackle pack
3. Portable depth finder, fish smoker and (1) boat rental
Individual Lake Prizes
1. Fenwick Trout rod and Shimano reel, boat rental at a lake of your choice
2. $100 shopping spree at the lake of your choice and a free boat rental at the lake of your choice
3. Eagle Claw rod and reel
Raffle Prizes
Raffle prizes include boat rentals at Lake Chabot, Lake Camanche, Los Vaqueros Reservoir, and San Pablo Reservoir, La Fuma Recliners, and Deluxe Days on Angel Island.
Note: All prizes will be delivered to the angler's home lake by July 1, 2010.

Derby Rules
- Derby begins May 1, 2010
- Derby closes May 30, 2010 at 5:00 pm.
- "Place" prize winners will be contacted by June 15th, 2010.
- Drawing prize winners and information for claiming prizes, will be posted on norcalfishing.com and at the lake marinas by July 1, 2010.
- One ticket is good for the entire derby at all four participating lakes.
- For each pound of trout caught, eligible anglers will be issued one raffle ticket.
- A person will not be eligible for any prizes if they purchase their derby ticket after catching a fish.
- A person is only eligible to win one 1st through 3rd place prize at each lake and one 1st - 3rd place overall prize.
- Anyone age 16 or older must possess a valid a California State Fishing License and Daily Fishing Access Permit.
- Fish must be caught during marina operating hours.
- Fish must be caught at Lake Camanche, San Pablo Reservoir, Lake Chabot, and Los Vaqueros and must be weighed in at the lake where they were caught on the same day they were caught.
- All weigh-ins are final and are based on the scale at the lake where the fish is caught and weighed.
- Urban Park Concessionaires employees make decisions on weight and fish eligibility.
- Decisions of Urban Park Concessionaires employees are final.
- Urban Park Concessionaires employees reserve the right to clean any fish entered in the derby. All fish entered in the derby may be subject to having their tail punched at weigh-in.
- Fish must be checked in before the posted closing time at each lake, the same day they were caught. Closing times very from lake to lake.
- Urban Park Concessionaires, East Bay Regional Park District, East Bay Municipal Utility District and Contra Costa Water District employees are not eligible to fish in this derby.
- Fish must be caught according to State Fish & Game laws.
- In case of a tie, a drawing will be used to break the tie.
